Our a Northeast Harbor store will be open Fridays and Saturdays from December 1 through the 23rd. Our hours will be 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, take advantage of our special holiday shopping hours, and get unique gifts for your family and friends. Everything in our store is made right here in Maine by hand by the artists who run the shop.
Here in Maine fall is in full swing. The leaves are in peak color, we’ve had our first frost, and it’s getting quite nippy out. Our last day at Southwest Harbor has come and gone for the season, but NorthEast will be open for weekends in December. Our artists have been busy clearing out their spaces, getting ready for their holiday season shows, and preparing for the holidays with their own families. Planning for next year has already begun. New artists have already been juried in, and we are hoping to have more new artists with us before we open next spring.
This was a tough year between the pipes bursting in Southwest Harbor and opening a new co-op in Northeast Harbor. We were a little crazy last spring, but we got two co-ops filled with displays and product in the space of three weeks. We only opened Southwest Harbor a week or so late which was truly amazing.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who patronized our shops this season. Your continued support allows us to continue creating and we are truly grateful.

As our season begins to wind down, we’d like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our local, artist owned business. We are already jurying in new items to add to our collection for next season. We will be open daily 10 AM to 5 PM, our last day open will be Saturday, October 21. You still have time to stop in and grab some last minute Maine made holiday gifts!
Our sister store in Northeast Harbor will be open daily until October 29. Northeast Harbor will be open Fridays and Saturdays in December for the rest of your holiday gift ideas!

Well after months of uncertainty, after the broken pipes in January, we are once again getting ready to open! We hope you will all bear with us as we rebuild. We do not have a specific opening date as of yet, but plan to open, in whatever condition we find ourselves, on Memorial Day Weekend. Stay tuned for more info!
Here are some photos of the renovated/repaired space. Unfortunately we lost the beautiful tin ceiling, but the mold remediation folks said it was necessary.

Back in January a pipe broke in the apartment upstairs from our shop causing widespread damage. The walls, floor and ceiling had to be stripped out. All the electric has to be replaced. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline for the landlord to complete the repair, so we do not know when/ if we can open this season. We are holding out hope that all will be well, but we will have to keep you posted as things progress.

Well that was fast! Another season is almost over and fall is in full swing. Our last day will be October 31st. We are open 7 days a week until then, from 10am – 5pm.

Welcome back folks! It’s been a tough few years but we are hanging in there. All of our members are working feverishly behind the scenes getting the gallery ready to open, and creating products to offer you.
Our gallery will open on May 6th 2022 at 10am. We will be open Fri-Sundays until May 27th, at which time, we will be open every single day until October 31st. Our hours will be as follows:
May – 10am – 5pm
June – 10am – 6pm
July – Aug 21st – 9am – 9pm
Aug 22nd – October 31st – 10am – 5pm

Starting June 12th, we will be open very day until mid-October. Our hours are 10am – 5pm.
We are following the state CDC guidelines. We understand some may object to some of these requirements, please understand the safety of our members and the public are our number one concern. Many of our artisans are older people with various health issues, we need to keep them, and you, safe. If you choose not to comply with our requirements, you are free to shop elsewhere until such time as we can safely go back to normal. We apologize for any inconvenience.
These are difficult times for all of us. We are only able to remain open because of our safety precautions. Please work with us so that we can continue to bring you the finest in Maine Made items.
